The orthopaedic wheelchair QUASAR KID has a rigid titanium frame and is the lightest pediatric wheelchair among Offcarr’s kids aids. Extraordinary design, quick-release axles, folding down backrest and carbon details: QUASAR KID has a lot to tell, and its crash tested version too!
FIXED OR ADJUSTABLE AXLE?
Posture matters, and the right growth needs an excellent support. QUASAR KID’s frame is perfect for changes thanks to the possibility to choose between fixed or adjustable axle. The fixed axle is completely welded on the frame, while the adjustable one creates the suitable conditions for set up changes as posture changes.
In detail
DYNAMIC DESIGN
QUASAR KID is the mini version of QUASAR for adults: same excellent performance, same smoothness when pushed. Take off the rear wheels by pushing the central button, fold down the backrest towards the seat and the wheelchair is ready for the journey. Dynamic and compact, it is made for children full of energy, with a swivel anti-tipping device on the right or the left as standard and a height adjustable T-shaped armrest built into the sideguard on request.
CRASH TESTED
QUASAR KID GT is the crash tested version, made for car trips. Specific labels put on the right spots on the front frame are a signal for the hooks’ anchorage (hooks are not supplied by Offcarr). The detachable sideguards have a special stop device you unblock by pulling a small cord under the seat, and the safety belt is standard.
SO MANY SHADES
The titanium frame of QUASAR KID and QUASAR KID GT is unforgettable. Choose the frame colour and don’t stop your imagination: you can add a touch of colour to the upholstery too, and make it complete with fantasy spokeguards and a colorful anodized set. Rear wheel rims, hubs, forks and front caps take the colour you want.
